You may or may not remember me. My name is … . You did a resume for me in February 1998 so that I could apply for a Sales Representative job with a printing company. I rang you to tell you that I got the job and I thanked you at that time. Since then I have risen through the ranks and now I am manager of that company. A position I could not have gotten if it wasn’t for your excellent resume that landed me the initial position. Judging from the amount of testimonials on your web page your business is certainly thriving. I am writing to you now so that my resume can be updated.

Dear Sherida

Just want to let you know that I was successful with the application you produced in July for the APS4 position in Super. Would you believe, I am now going to go for a five? Quite a few new positions have been created and I think I might have a good chance of getting one of them given the fact that already I am one of the most experienced four’s in the section.

Not bad for someone who joined the department less than two years’ ago as a two!

You have now prepared three successful lots of selection criteria for me, and I very much appreciate the service (and the results!).

Can you fit me in sometime this week or next for the five application? I can take a flex day any time as long as I have a bit of notice.

This client first used our services in 1999 to join the Commonwealth Service in an entry level position. She had an education level of Year 11. We have since prepared successive applications for her to reach APS5 level, initially with one Department, and then another – all achieved in a few short years. Her meteoric rise was noted by colleagues who, when asked how she did it, were referred to us. They, too, started to enjoy success.
